Wyatt Hale

1985 - 2018

Wyatt Allen Hale, 32, earned his wings March 26, 2018 at Methodist Hospital-Memphis. Wyatt was born in Tupelo on October 17, 1985 to Vaughn Hale and Pamela Littrell Rogers. He grew up here and graduated in 2002 from Tupelo High School. An outgoing man with a larger than life personality, Wyatt was enjoyed by his many friends throughout his life. He was a carpenter by trade and could do anything with his hands. He grew up in the Belden Baptist Church, attended Itawamba Community College and East Mississippi Community College receiving his Associates degree. An adventuresome soul, Wyatt traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. He enjoyed the mountains and rivers and the natural beauty of his country. A patriotic American, Wyatt volunteered for the Mississippi National Guard serving with the HHC 155th Brigade Combat Team. Wyatt honored his call to duty and served honorably in Operation Iraqi Freedom. PFC Wyatt A. Hale was injured and ultimately became a 100% disabled Veteran. Wyatt loved horseback and motorcycle riding, being with his family and friends, being a practical jokester and sharing his loving personality with all whom he met. A grateful family, State and Nation mourns his untimely transformation to the great beyond.

A service celebrating his life, with military honors, will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with his Uncle, Bro. Bill Hale, officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 AM-service time on Tuesday only at Holland-Tupelo Chapel, which is honored to be serving their friends.

Wyatt is survived by his mother, Pam Rogers and her husband, Don of Hickory Flat, MS., 2 brothers, Noble Hale and his wife, Gwendolyn of Tupelo and Travis Hale and his wife, Staycie of Belden. His nieces and nephew, Jayda, Jace and Jaylee Hale. His grandfather, Floyd Hale and his wife, Connie of Tupelo. He was preceded in death by his father, Vaughn Hale and his grandparents, Callie Hale and Barbara and Gerald Littrell.

Pallbearers will be his brothers, Noble and Travis and Cory Morrison, Drew Prewitt, Kawassi Reed, William Pannell and Jay Emerson.
