Evelyn Donaldson Dankert Evelyn Donaldson Dank-ert, a resident of County Road 83, Newville, died late Thursday night, December 16, 2010, in a Dothan hospital. She was 79. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, December 20, 2010, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Greg Doss officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland. At other times, the family will be at the home of her son, Billy Dankert, near Echo. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity. Mrs. Dankert was born in Hortense, Georgia, daughter of the late William Kyle Donaldson and Evelyn Travis Graves Donaldson. She lived in Ragland, West Virginia before moving to the Mt. Pisgah community, near Echo, in 1963. Mrs. Dankert retired as Activities Director at the Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Facility. In earlier years, she was employed by West-Point Stevens and Wex Tex Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Dankert was a member of the Abbeville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin William Dankert, a granddaughter, Carla Jim-merson, a son-in-law, Bill Jimmerson, a sister, Alma Jean Donaldson Keatley. Surviving relatives include a daughter, Gayle Jimmerson, Midland City; a son, Billy Dankert and wife, Linda, Newville; five grandchildren, Keith Jimmerson and wife, Tina; Doug Jim-merson and wife, Shannon; Ed Dankert, Rhonda Kirkland and husband, Reggie; Will Dankert and wife, Amber; twelve great-grand-children; four great-great-grandchildren.
