Barbara Pimentel Obituary

Fremont, California
Barbara Pimentel was born in Pocatello, Idaho to J. Ward and Preil Harrison Green. She taught elementary school in Albany, California. She married Douglas Dearborn Pimentel in 1952, and they raised their five children in Hayward and Fremont. In addition to being a wonderful mother, she served long and faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a kind and attentive neighbor.
She is preceded in death by her husband, by her parents and by her sister, Rebecca Green Jacobs. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Green (Norene) of Spokane Valley, Washington; by her children, Jay (Colleen) of Alameda, California; Ronald (Sarah) of Ridgefield, Washington; Gary (Lori) of Salt Lake City, Utah; Nancy Holladay (Dale) of Fremont, California; and David (Annette) of Moscow, Idaho; by 23 grandchildren; by 23 great-grandchildren; and by 15 nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing at the LDS chapel at 38134 Temple Way, Fremont CA, on Monday, February 15, from 8:00-9:30 AM. The funeral will follow in the same chapel at 10 AM and interment will be beside Douglas at the Lone Tree Cemetery, 24591 Fairview Ave, Hayward CA.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Sister Pemintel. She was always so kind and friendly toward me. When I would see her she always had a smile in greeting. I am sorry for you loss, but know that she is having a happy reunion with family and friends.
