Mary Encarnacion Orduna

Mary Encarnacion Orduna Nov. 14, 1933~May 26, 2009 Resident of Bay Point Mary Orduna, 75, passed away May 26, 2009. She was a native of Tulare, CA and a 57 year resident of Pittsburg and Bay Point. For 15 years, Mary worked as a teacher's aide for Los Medanos Elementary School and a homemaker for 58 years. She was a member of the Guadalupana Society and Regina Mundi Guild. Mary enjoyed bingo, canasta, cooking, and trips to Reno and Tahoe. Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Medardo Orduna, daughters: Geri Fernandez, Rita Bisaha (Dan), and Sandra Pardi (Rob); sons: Robert Orduna, Rudy Orduna (Roseanne), Richard Orduna (Tina), and Tom Orduna (Nella); grandchildren: Gregory, R.J., Nicki, Jessica, Christina, Robert, Stephen, Rachel, Phillip, Ryan, Sarah, Ross, Sean, Cotie, Cala, Cierra, Maria, Melanie, Anthony, Christopher, and Delia; great-grandchildren: Alejandro, Cruz, Isaac, Maddie, Lily. Also survived by her sister Rose Moreale and two brothers: Larry and Placido Canchola. She was preceded in death by her parents Tomas and Domitila Canchola, sister Hortencia Canchola, and brother Joe Canchola. Visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2009 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 9:30am at St. Peter Martyr Church.
