I met Opal and George many years ago in my position as Reservations Mgr at Sun Mountain Lodge, Winthrop. They made a yearly trek back to their beloved Lodge and area, and we became close friends and stayed in contact all of these years even after I left my position and they could no longer make the long trip north. Opal was one of a kind, full of life energy, stubborn and loving, soft and intense, who looked you in the eye and told you the truth, held your hand and didn't let you give up. May you rest with the angels Opal! Except that I know you will be busy doing something. I will love you always.
