William (Bill) Joseph Rose

Resident of Brentwood
Bill, a loving man, passed away surrounded by his family following a stroke. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine; their six children: William III (Mimi), Barry (Vicki), Doreen Kleindienst (Mark), Brian (Susan), Eileen Santos (Greg) and Sharleen; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his brother Robert and 2 nieces.
Born in Chicago, Bill met his sweetheart Lorraine at age 15, served in the Army and then moved to California to raise their family. He worked as a building contractor for 40 years in the Bay Area and upon retirement, he managed a self-storage facility in Roseville and developed a passion for cooking.
A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 10, 2016, at 11:30am at the Summerset II Clubhouse, 193 Summerset Drive, Brentwood, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to: HARTS, P.O. Box 20475, Castro Valley, CA 94546
