Richard Lowe Obituary

PORT WENTWORTH - Richard Henry Lowe, 55, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at Candler Hospital after a short illness.
Richard was born on May 10, 1963 in Savannah to the late Melvin M. Lowe and Kathleen C. Elmore. Richard is also preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Hadley.
Richard retired as a journeyman iron worker out of local 709.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Blackard (Andy) of Springfield,; brother, Brian Lowe (Alicia) of Sylvania; sister, Cindy Lefler (Jack) of Oden, Md.; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at noon Aug. 18, 2018, at Riggs Funeral Home. A visitation will take place one hour before the service.
The family suggests any remembrances be made in his memory to Bible Lutheran Church, 812 Blue Jay Road, Rincon, Ga. 31326.
The family would also like to thank the caring staff of Candler Hospital, ICU.
