Anthony B. "Tony" Folker, 59, of Goshen, died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at his home of natural causes.
He was born Sept. 22, 1963, in Goshen to Ronald C. and Patricia E. (Turnbow) Folker. They preceded him in death.
On July 26, 1986, he married Susan Hoover in Milford.
Susie survives along with three daughters, Jami (Jordan) Mumaw, Elkhart, Karla Folker, Indianapolis, and Dana Folker, Granger; and six grandchildren, Coralie Davila, Jemma Mumaw, Camila Mumaw, Isla Davila, Cambria Mumaw and Royce Mumaw.
Also surviving are three siblings, Tammy (Bill) Packard, Woodstock, Georgia, Todd (Brette) Folker, Goshen, and Terry (Kelsee) Folker, Middlebury.
Tony was a life-long area resident. He worked for Barletta Boats, Bristol, as a processing and improvements manager. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and notorious jokester. Some of his interests included: fishing, craft whiskey, cigars, music, traveling, and working on his boat and motorcycle.
Tony's main focus and purpose for his life was his family. Whatever he was doing, he enjoyed it more if his family, and especially his grandchildren, were with him.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 27, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
An 11 a.m. a funeral service will be held Friday, July 28, at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Speicher, Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford, officiating.
Cremation will take place after services.
Memorial gifts in honor of Tony may be directed to Crossroads United Way, serving Elkhart, LaGrange and Noble counties.
