Stephen Eugene Haines, 61, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, was born Feb. 19, 1961.
Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, is a day the family of Stephen Haines will never forget. His passing strikes everyone with grief and sorrow, but he lives on in the souls and memories of all who loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Kara Haines and her children, Andie, Katie and Stevie. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jackie Pedrotti, his mother Jean "Maw" Haines, his sister Jacqueline Reardon and many cousins close to him.
He was a trusted son, true father and grandfather, beloved significant other, a brother and good friend to so many. We can all picture him reunited with Bud the basset hound and his beloved Uncle Jerry.
He was preceded in death by his father, A. Gene Haines, brother-in-law, Andy Krupp and his cousins, Corky, Bill, Bryen, and Scott.
There is no doubt that he is already bagging a buck or wetting a line with his friends. Steve made sure to, 'head back over the tracks' one more time with his bow and fishing pole in hand.
Like the head-mounts and fish on the wall, his memories are trophies to us all.
Please help us Celebrate his Life together at the VFW in Edwardsburg, Michigan, on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. There will be no other services at this time.
Arrangements are by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
