Dear Minnie, Nuni, Patricia, Tony and my Nina Rosalva:

I am deeply sorry to hear about Bert’s passing and offer you my heartfelt condolences. I will always remember Bert as a loving and caring godfather. Although time and years separated us, he always will remain in a special part of my heart. A goddaughter could not ask for a better godfather than Bert.

On behalf of my mother, Alma A. Garcia, I send her condolences to the entire family.

Montelongo Family,
You have my deepest sympathy. Bert was a very good friend and above all a real gentleman. I remember all the good times we had playing golf together at Santa Teresa CC with Victor Robles, Eddie Elias and the rest of the group. You will be truly miss by all your friends.

Dearest Minnie, Nuni, Tricia, Tony and Family,
Please now that our thoughts are with you all at this time of sorrow. Uncle Sergio is out of sight but not out of our hearts. Your joyful memories will bring you comfort and dry your tears. My fondest/funniest memory of him is always falling for the old "hand me that toy" and he would pull me into the pool. I never learned! Much Love, Chelita

Dear Minnie, Nuni, Patricia, Tony & Family,
It's hard to find the right words to say at such a difficult time. We pray for all of you and know this brings the best comfort. We all knew Uncle Sergio loved his golf and fishing but his favorite thing to do was to spend time serving God. Be joyful in knowing he is with Him and now watching over all of you.
Love,
Mary Lou & Joe Mellgoza

Mr. Montelongo,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC in Korea as a member of the 1st Marine Division fighting the Communist North Koreans and Chinese. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines at Inchon and the "Frozen Chosin" back then that all us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
