Anna M. Palyocsik

PALYOCSIK– Anna M., 97, Sidman, died June 5, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born Oct. 28, 1911, in South Fork, daughter of Phillip and Anna (Barbustak) Petrunak.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, John Palyocsik, who died Oct. 16, 1972; daughter, Margaret Slanoc; and 10 sisters and brothers.  Survived by daughters, Patricia, wife of Martin Peretin, Sidman, and Joyce, wife of Robert Sanders, Lewistown; grandchildren, Bruce Slanoc, Chad Peretin, Cher Peretin and Deanna Russler; great-grandchildren, Cullen, Kierra, Camlyn, Karsten and Kyson Russler; brother, Michael Petrunak; and son-in-law, Thomas Slanoc, Portage.  Anna was the founder and owner of Palyocsik True Value Hardware for more than 50 years.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 8 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Monday  at St. Michael Catholic Church, Father Alfred Patterson.  Entombment, St. Francis Xavier Mausoleum, Cresson.
