Rest in peace Mrs. Gibb.You'll always hold a special place in my heart. I was going through depression due to bullying in eighth grade. I was failing most of my classes. Mrs. Gibb pushed me to the point where I went from having low F's to A's and B's. If it wasn't for her, I would have flunked. I wouldn't be a junior in high school right now. I feel like I lost a best friend. I'll never forget her.

Rest In peace ms gibb I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to make it to see one football game with you. I really wanted too always would think about you and hoped you were doing we'll . I will see u soon for my pie .. U still ow me one I'm not gonna forget wish I could have had the privlige to talk to u one last time still remember when u got me a Christmas gift and wrapped but put the clothes inside a blender box lol u will be greatly missed hope will can stay strong he's a great uncle and a friend was great having u guys become a part of the family . Will never forget when u introduced me to deviled eggs mmmmm they were somthing . Will be seeing u ms gibb u will be missed you were part of the family and always will be with love and respect jessey Mendez

Hello Deana and Willie: We were saddened to see that your Mom has passed. I remember her excitement about starting over and becoming a teacher. My Mother, who got her teaching degree in her 40's died much too young also at Thanksgiving, 1972 and the following verse was shared at her funeral. Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. This verse has brought much comfort to me thru the years and I hope will for you also. Never forget the happy times on Deepwood & Brookwood Drive. Valerie never married and she still lives behind us. Her Mom died this year as did Bobbie & Blaine's Mom several years ago.
