I am so sorry to hear of Gerald's passing. I did not know of his illness. May God wrap his loving arms around you all during this time of great loss. I so enjoyed and appreciated our friendship. Gerald was a great guy! Kay, David and Susan stay close and support one another. Just an update, I was diagnosed with ideopathic pulmonary vibrosis 3 years ago. God has been good to me as my condition is stable. Maxine is doing well. Amanda has 3 boys and Justin is not married.

I had Coach Clausen back in 70's shortley after he started teaching at Coppinville. He was such a joy to have had as a coach. A pleasure to had been one of his students. May Gob Bless your family as you go through this terriable lost. May you find peace knowing he is no longer in pain and his watching over you all. Remeber all those wonderful blessed memories! God Bless

Susan, Kay and David,
I have been praying for all of you while Gerald fought this battle. I do not do "Facebook", but Rissi,Tina, Perry & Melissa have kept me abreast of Gerald's challenges. I have shared this defeat in the loss of my dad, also a coach. I know what a legacy Gerald has left in you. That does not replace his hugs, but when you look for him, you will know he was there for not only you, but hundreds of kids who needed him.
Love,
Evelyn Parker

Kay,
I was saddened to read of the passing of Gerald in the paper today. You and Gerald lived next door to my Mother on Rosewood Drive when you married and when the twins were born. He was always so kind to my Mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the children during this difficult time.
