Harry Scott Obituary

Mr. Harry T. Scott, 77, of Daleville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at Medical Center Enterprise.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at 10 a.m., at Lee Street Baptist Church in Enterprise with Jerry Sapp officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The body will be placed into the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Heart Association, Southeast Affiliate (Coffee County, AL), Living Legacy Partnership, P.O. Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or the Daleville Rescue Squad, 730 S. Daleville, Ave., Daleville, AL 36322.
Mr. Scott was born July 18, 1931 in Stoddard County, Mo. to the late Walter and Loma Harmon Scott. He retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. He then worked and Dyncorp for 15 years and was a member of the IAM Union. In addition to his parents, a brother, Ralph Scott, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Scott of Daleville; two daughters, Carol Lynn Scott of Daleville, Wanda Sue Kramer of Hazel Green; son Tony Martin Williams of Daleville; three sisters: Lois Eason and Fern O'Toole both of Rochester Hills, Mich., Ima Gene Reed of Dudley, Mo.; brother, Arlie Buel Scott of Ross Commons, Mich.; six grandchildren, Stephanie English, Michelle English, Kelli Morrow, Amanda Kramer, Rebecca Lynn Williams, Justin Balgo; several nieces and nephews.
