Arthur Bihler Obituary
Arthur E. Bihler, Jr., age 85, of Erie, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Erie on July 11, 1928 a son of the late Arthur and Lillian Heaven Bihler.
He graduated from Academy High School and worked at Nasco Plastics for 15 years and Firch Baking Company for 22 years. He also was a news paper carrier for the Erie Times primarily at St. Vincent Hospital. He was active in the Boy Scouts. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church and bowled in their league on Wednesday evenings at Eastway Lanes.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Suzanna Trojanovich Bihler, a daughter, Rebecca Kowalczyk, two brothers, Donald and Robert Bihler and a sister, Shirley Horn.
He is survived by three daughters, Maryann Long of Erie, Christine Laird of Texas and Karen Simione and her significant other, David Spinks of Edinboro, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two half brothers, Gene and Thomas Bihler and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, PA. 16508 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to the Funeral Mass at Sts Peter and Paul Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.

Mary Ann, Christine and Karen. We are so sorry for your loss. Paul and I didn't find out about Uncle Art until the day of the funeral. We are so sorry that we didn't make it to the viewing. Try to find comfort in the fact that he and your mom are together again. Love to all the family.
