Cody Trombetta Obituary
Cody R. Trombetta, 19, of Harborcreek, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born in Erie on July 10, 1994 a son of Gerald and Colleen Chilcott Trombetta.
Cody was a 2012 graduate of Harbor Creek High School and worked as a cook and bar back at Bootleggers Bar and Grill. Most recently, he worked with GSW Masonry. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and enjoyed BMX biking, playing hacky sack, and working on cars. Cody's spirit will forever live in our hearts as we cherish the memories of his life and his beautiful smile. He loved his parents, brothers, family and friends and would want us all to smile through the tears . . . "Just for today."
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Chilcott and paternal grandfather, Gerald Trombetta.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Andy Trombetta and his wife Carmelle of Houston, Texas and Nick Trombetta of Erie; his maternal grandmother, Carol Chilcott of Erie; his paternal grandmother, Theresa Trombetta of Erie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Gregory's Cemetery.

Dear Mr and Mrs Trombetta,
I never had the chance to actually meet Cody, but I saw him around hc a few times. He seemed like an awesome person, and I can say with full assurance that he will be missed by many of his fellow peers. Facebook was full of messages about how great your son was and how many people around my age will surely miss him.
