Dorothy Weidner Obituary

Dorothy “Dottie” Allison Weidner Dorothy “Dottie” Allison Weidner, age 59, resident of 22231 Lake Road, Saegertown, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 following several months of illness. She had lived at her residence in Cussewago Twp., Saegertown for the past 20 years coming from Beaver, Pa. Born on September 11, 1946 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of Lenora Dotson Allison and the late Wilbur Leslie Allison. On February 24, 2003 she married Daniel Lee Weidner who survives. From 1966 until 1976 she was employed by Westinghouse, Beaver, Pa.; from 1976 until 1986 she was employed by Chips Tavern in Fallston, Pa.; and from 1986 until 1994 by R. Kibbee Distributorship in Crossingville. In 1994 until the present she was proprietor and manager of U D’s Tavern at Thomas Corners, Conneautville. Family surviving her in addition to her loving husband, Daniel, and her mother, Lenora Allison of Madison, Ohio include a devoted daughter - Allison Lank and her husband, Robert of Columbus, Ga.; two granddaughters - Stacey Lank of Saegertown and Jackie Lank of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters - Erma Dagen and her husband, Robert of Rochester, Pa.; and Lois Kampi of Madison, Ohio. She was preceded in death in addition to her father by a grandson, Robert Allen Lank, Jr. Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Saturday morning at 11:00. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or the Auburn Heights Baptist Church Land Fund, 4207 Auburn Road, Phenix City, AL 36870.
