Timmy, Do you remember how we went with your dad to Findley, NY.to fish in the lake when he went to the doctor. He had such patience, even when you made "kirbys' to sell on your street in Kearsage and left all his tools out.He was a very good man. Gary

Dear Aunt Vi and Family,
I wanted to express my condolences with the passing of Uncle Shaka. Throughout my entire life, my mother always told me that Shaka was her hero and that she was able to accomplish so much in life mainly because of the great sacrifices made by her brother. I am honored to know that I have two people as wonderful as Shaka and Vi to call my aunt and uncle. Shaka will truly be missed by many.

I was sad to read about Mr. Evanoff's passing. I know your pain. I have such fond memories of you and the old neighborhood. I especially remember how Mr. Evanoff and my Dad would talk about sports, especially PSU football,
and argue !!! I think those two just argued for the sake of arguing.
With all my Love,

Dear Vi and Family,
I love and miss my brother Harry so much. Shaka was my hero, my inspiration, my friend. Shaka was my strength who showed me a love of God and family. Shaka is blessed with a wonderful wife, Vi, who shared a great love for him. My life is blessed in so many ways because of the influence Harry had in my life.
My love and prayers are with all my family members.

Dearest Aunt Vi & Family,
We an incredible legacy Uncle Shaka has left us! Aunt Vi .. you and Uncle Shaka were so loving, so giving, and always there for us when we were children, and I shall hold those memories so close to my heart...
What wonderful memories we have of an uncle who always thought of us with a special gift from Marx when we were kids, and the special clothing gifts as both you and he never, ever forgot your nieces and nephews during special moments in our lives. You always have the "welcome" sign out for any of us,m and we always loved spending holiday time at your house... some of my most favorite memories were and still are, of the warmth of your home during the holidays and birthdays and our spontaneous get togethers......
When I think of Uncle Shaka.. I think of our "skanza" moments, and how we would savour every bite of our favorite russian pastry... Those are my kodak moments with Uncle Shaka!
While I know that this is a time that we grieve for our loss of him in our lives on earth... we are comforted in knowing that one day in our near future.. we shall be with him again, knowing that he is walking in fullness of life, is completely healed, whole and full of joy and happiness.
AUnt Vi.. you are truly the epitome of the Proverbs 31 wife and mom. You loved him so deeply, and showed him that love every day especially during the past 12 years that you cared for him at home during the years of his illness.
Kathy, Linda and Tim, along with your spouses.. how you love your parents! Actions and deed that loved so deeply, showered them with tremendous love, devotion and stood by mom and dad each and everday...
Alex and Ray..what a treasure you were and are to your grandparents. Uncle SHaka would have such a sparkle in his eye when he would talk about his grandsons, and how proud he was of you both! You are such great, fine young men, and I know that you shall carry on the Evanoff legacy.
My heart, my prayers, my thoughts, my love are soooo with you right now. How I wish I was there with you.
I will forever treasure our get together at Fathers Day, and to see happiness and a time of fun for Uncle Shaka on that day as we celebrated and honored him on Fathers Day with a surprise visit from Aunt MaTrina... it was such a time of fellowship.. what a treasure that day was then, and so much more now..
I pray that God perfect peace, and His perfect love fill each of you during this difficult time. How special it was that you were with him until he took his last earthly breath, and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, and by all of his family who eagerly welcomed him "home.."
May the peace and presence of God flll your heart and your thoughts as we reflect on all of the wonderful things, time shared and memories built with Uncle Shaka.
Much love to each of you... I am with you in spirit every moment of the day during this time.
I love you all so much....
Love,
Darlene & Family

Dear Aunt Vi and family,
I want to express my sincere condolences at the passing of Uncle Shaka. He was a great man and father. I have such wonderful memories of chatting with him (especially about sports) or accompanying him into your basement as a youngster as he found a neat toy for us to play with.
May the Lord's blessings be with you at this time. It is comforting to know that Uncle Shaka is being greeted by Baba, Gloria, and Kay.
