James R. Fuller Sr.

1947 - 2018

James R. Fuller, Sr., age 71, of Erie, died on November 27, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie, on November 21, 1947, to the late Arthur and Anna Mae Pogue Fuller.

James served in the United States Army.

He worked as a mechanic for Kafferlin Sales & Services Inc., Glenn's Transmission, and Bianchi Motors.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and could do anything.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Arthur and Richard Fuller.

James is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lynn Mulholland Fuller; daughters, Charlotte Fuller of Erie, Tammy Fuller (Dennis) of Erie, Brenda Gass of Union City, Crystal Mancuso (Rodney Ayers) of Corry, Jeannette Austin (Thomas) of Erie, and Arleshia Johnson (Shane Hipple) of Erie; sons, James R. Fuller, Jr. (Corrina Gilbert) of Erie, James A. Fuller (Christine Green) of North East, Scotty Carpenter (Malinda) of Erie, and Ralph E. Tyler, Jr. of Erie; brother, George Fuller (Laurie) of Erie and Elmer Fuller of Canadohta Lake; sisters, Jean Overton (Howard) of Tennessee, Bonnie Allen (Chuck) of Georgia, Nancy Woodcock (Ken) of Florida, and Diana Lewis (Tom) of Erie; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Fuller of Erie and Kathleen Fuller of Kansas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and also his four-legged kids, Tater Salad, Tickle Me, and Roxie.

Friends may call at the Brugger Funeral Home & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and from 6:00 until time of a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating is Rev. Gene Kennett. The American Legion Post # 571 will be conducting a military honors service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
