My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring. May the God of all comfort grant you peace and strength to endure the days ahead.

I met John through Helen Meyers and was able to spend some time sharing stories of golf and his travels. John always had excellent advice on where to find a great meal, or a new bourbon to try. My life is better for having known John. He was a good man who loved life and his family, and he will be greatly missed.

I so enjoyed playing golf with John in Florida for the past ten years or so. He was a good golfer, a great friend, and a kind and generous man. We will miss you on the links, John!

To John's family,
We are snow birds in Palm Harbor ,Fl. We met John 10 years ago through the golfers. We enjoyed many cocktails over wonderful stories on our lanai. Our lives are richer for having known John. He will be greatly missed. Please except our deepest sympathy.

My family and I had the pleasure of getting to know John well over the past few years. He was such a warm, charming, kind hearted and respectable man. He was an amazing companion to my mom and we are deeply saddened by his loss. We will miss him. We feel so honored to have met him and been able to spend time together. Sending hugs, prayers, and lots of good memories to his sons and daughter and their families. We are so very sorry for your loss. Love, The Rogus Family (Tyler, Karry, Avery & Will)
