Oh Grannie, I still can't believe you are gone. I love you so much! I thought we'd have more time -- and the pain of regret hurts so bad. But I am so glad that I have such wonderful memories of my childhood with you. Thank you for taking such good care of me! And I am so happy that you got to meet and hold and love Baby David. I will tell him all about you and how wonderful you were and that you had the softest cheeks ever!
You and Grandpa, by the grace of God, created a wonderful family. Although no ONE person could ever fill your shoes, maybe together we can try to be more like you, Grannie. You are a blessing and each one of us gets to carry a piece of you - memories - in our hearts forever.
I miss you. I wish I could come see you one more time, sitting at your kitchen table with an open book, a cup of coffee and Days of Our Lives on the TV. I wish I could see you SEE David. The love you had for him came through your eyes when you looked at him.
And thank you Grannie, for never holding back your love for me. Even when I wasn't around a lot, you still loved me just as much. And I love you, and always have... and always will! Dave loves you too, and you can be sure that little David will grow up knowing and loving his Great Grannie!
I miss you!

P.S.: Thumbs high for the dragonflies!

Family of Aunt Kay,
I'm sorry to hear of Aunt Kays passing. I'll always have fond memories of her and all the weekends visiting on Old French Road. Her house was always full and she never seemed to mind..I'll also never forget the smile that lit up her face when she looked at Uncle John..I saw that smile often growing up. May you find peace in your faith at this difficult time.

Mrs Konzel and John were our landlords on Schley Street for a long time. We actually bought our flat from them. They were great people with huge hearts, and we have many fond memories of them. Every time the flowers she planted in my yard bloom, I think of her. I am glad she's with John now, I always admired them - they were just good people and they provided us with lots of laughs. Thinking of you all - sending our deepest condolences. Love never dies.
