William Riker Obituary
William "Bill" K. Riker, age 65, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, November 17th, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Sewickley, Pa., on March 20, 1950, a son of the late James and Ruth Teckmeyer Riker.
Bill served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Mechanic with Hallman Hyundai. He was a selfless man, hardworking "Jack of all Trades," who loved his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and snow snowmobiling and going to rock concerts.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruthie Giordano; and a brother, Jack Riker.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne M. (Cieri) Riker; three sons, Jamie E. Riker (Kristen) of Erie, Geno A. Riker (Valerie) of Union City, Pa., and Matthew A. Riker (Christine) of Riverview, Fla.; a daughter, Lisa M. Riker of Erie; seven grandchildren, Britny, Allie, Brandon, Matty, Katelyn, Allen and Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan and Adrianna; two sisters, Blanch Slates (Chuck) of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Roberta Gorring (Dave) of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4682 Douglas Circle NW, Canton, OH 44718, or the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie, PA 16511.
Arrangements are by Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th St., Erie, PA 16504.

Joanne and family., we are very sorry for your loss. We remember Bill when you two were going together and he would repair our tv's. As our neighbor and babysitter, we were happy you married Bill. He was such an outgoing and generous guy always willing to help. We pray for your family.
