PHILLIPSBURG, NJ Hugh Rose, 76, of Hellertown passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was born October 3, 1945 in Phillipsburg a son of the late Roy and Martha (Roseberry) Rose. Hugh was an ironworker with Local Unions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey before retiring in 2010. He was a 1964 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Kline; a brother Bruce Rose of Phillipsburg; a sister Debby Szmondis (husband, Walt) of Hellertown; many wonderful nieces and nephews, whom loved him dearly. He is predeceased by brothers Roy, John and Russell; and sisters Ruth Rosario, Emma Agosta, Cara Turner and Julia Orlowsky. Memorial Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave, Phillipsburg, NJ.
