I miss Dr Levengood more than words can say. He was more than a vet, he was my friend. I still haven't found a vet that comes close to the vet that Jack was and never will!

Dr. Levengood took care of every single one of my animals for 40+ yrs. He cared for them, and also listened to me and my worries, cares, and wiped away my years several times also. He is a testament to empathy and love. He is missed greatly!

Jack was the best vet ever. A caring doc who loved all animals. He went to school with my husband & was my husband's grandmother's paper boy.keeping it short i will say we prayed For his family. We will always remember him

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Dr. Levengood. He was an extraordinary Dr. and individual. What he has done for anyone who was a pet owner has been wonderful. He was always down-to-earth and very compassionate. He had a great sense of humor as well. My sincere condolences to Dr. Levengood's family. You had one of the very best people in life spend his life with you.

I was so very sad to hear of Jacks passing! I will always remember the broad smile his kindness even when having to help me part with my favorite animal. On on occasion he refused to let me pay him for his services because he remembered my dog so well and stated "Fred and I were old friends I could never take anything for that." I know that was not sweat at the corner of his eye but a tear as he remembered all the visits we made to his office. sleep well my friend, and I hope all dogs do go to heaven you will have many friends their!

Words can not express what this man has meant to me and my animals through over 40 years. He was always there for me whenever I needed him unless as I often joked..he was off basking on a beach! Heaven has gained a wonderful man! I can only imagine the number of furry friends waiting to welcome him!! Until we meet again...

I am sad to hear of Dr. Levengood 's passing. He was my family's vet since I was a little girl, and continued to be my vet and friend as I started my own family. He cared for many of my pets and was always there with a kind word when it was time for them to go. I will truly miss him and I am glad I had the chance to know him. Celebrating a life well lived. I will cherish the memories forever.

I knew Jack for so very many years. He was certainly a special vet. I can remember all the dogs I took to him for shots or when they were sick or injured, and the kindness he showed as he helped me lay many of them to rest as well. There were times when I told him I didn't have the money to pay. He would just say stop by when you can. He was always so calm and relaxed. We would chat a while about the latest news or what our kids were doing. It was just like visiting with an old friend. In fact, that's exactly what he was.
Jack, you took such wonderful care of our family.

Oh my word!!! What can I say! I loved this man!!! He was THE BEST Dr. EVER!!!!! He was the nicest person he really really cared for our pets as much as we do!!!! He is missed already. God Bless his family! I pray for you peace and comfort at this very hard time!! He's is with our Lord Jesus with all the animals in Heaven!!! My prays for you all!!!

I always felt like my animals were getting excellent care when they went to see Dr. Levengood. I have been taking my animals there for his care for 20 years. He will be missed by everyone. Another angel in Heaven. God Bless and we are so sorry for your loss.

I absolutely loved Dr. Jack Levengood. He has been our family vet for over 40 years. He has seen us through puppies, sickness, deaths and well visits. I am so saddened by his death. He gave his heart and soul to each furry friend. Bless you and God has another angel in heaven.

We are so sorry to hear of Dr. Levengood's passing, not only a friend but an icon of the Towerville Community. We purchased our Chocolate Lab, Avery, with Jack's blessing, and put him to rest, alongside Jack, with tears from us all. Jack often joked it would be Avery that put him in retirement, breaking that old wobbly treatment table. One day Avery wrote a poem to Jack, pleading for extra food, he had grown older and Jack decided a diet was in order, but one "cup" of food was going a little too far................ I always felt "safe" with a Dr. in the neighborhood, not only for pets but to rush "little ones" to as well. We will sadly & dearly miss Jack & all the blessings & comfort he brought to our community. Please know our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. Randy & Bridget Doan

Dr. Levengood will be missed by my family. He was the most wonderful Dr. and had a real love of people and their pet. I'm for ever grateful to of know such a knowledgeable kind hearted man. Jack will be very much missed by my pets and me and my husband. He was my families vet when I was little and I continued with his services until he passed. We were also friends and we both had a passion we auctions and antiques. We will miss him dearly.

Dr. Levengood was a kind and caring Vet. He always greeted us with a smile and handshake. Our pets all loved him. If you walked into the Little Chef in Coatesville, you would see him most mornings, having his breakfast with friends. RIP Dr. Levengood, you will be greatly missed.

I've known Jack for such a long time, we got to know each other on a first name basis. "Dr Levengood" took such good care of our many cats over the years. He and the Mrs gave us "Boris" and "Natasha" who were members of our household for many years. He was such a great person. We are so thankful to have known him and will miss him very much. Jack was truly not only my vet but a wonderful friend. Even thought I now live in SC, many wonderful memories come flooding back. Like the time he set a gerbil's broken leg with a straw.
