Dorothy GARRISON Obituary

Dorothy Beatrice (Hudson) Garrison Resident of Benicia Dorothy passed away peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the home of her daughter Wendy (Garrison) Buffo in Cottonwood, AZ. Dorothy was born February 23, 1923 in Loves Park, IL to Inez Johnson and Harry Hudson, and married her beloved husband George in 1947. She was preceded in death by two children, Davey in 1949, and Dan in 1970 and her husband George in 2008 after 63 years of marriage. Dorothy is survived by four children George Jr., Gregory, Wendy, and Scott, as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dorothy's older sister Jeanette, and a younger sister Vivian also preceded her in death. Her younger brother Dell and two sisters Gloria, and Elaine still live in the greater Rockford, IL area. Her youngest brother, Jack, lives in Merced, CA. Dorothy and George had been residents of Benicia, CA since moving from Stewartville, MN in 1985. Dorothy was loved by her family, and led a full and busy Christian life. She will be missed by many friends and family. She was laid to rest in Crystal Lake Union Cemetery, Crystal Lake, IL on Friday, Sept 3, 2010.

this is your cousin Marilynn hudson Johnson, my daughter who lives in ROSCOE called me this morning to let me know about Dot. for I live in FT.MYERS.FL.now, so hooked up on the computer to read the notices.It was a nicely written. I remember the old days when we played together.
