Lori, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was so sad for you & your family when I found out and I'm hurting for you. There has been way too much tragedy on Three Wood Dr- my dad also passed this past week on 11/9/10, so I'm grieving now as well. It's so hard and it's indescribable unless you've been through it. If you need to talk or cry or whatever, I will be at my parents house for a while with mom. You know where we live. Sometimes it's just good to talk. I hope God is giving you peace.

Kyle was such a prankster at work, he loved to find ways to prank me! I never knew what to expect the next day when I came back to work,( he had a lot of creative ideas)He always found ways to compliment me and to make me laugh to make me feel better even when I wasnt having a good day. I would always ask him "ok what are you trying to get a deal on today?" lol. He became part of our family at the pawnshop, and I am grateful to had the laughter and the pleasure of having him in my life. I will always remember him for his special qualities and how hard his efforts paid off at work, all I have to do is look around the store and see all he had accomplished not only physically but most of all emotionally not only to his co workers but to his customers and myself. Sherri you raised an awesome son whom we love very much! our prayers are with you. We love you Kyle!

Momma Harris - I cannot express enough the memory I will forever hold dear to my heart having met you just a few weeks ago and sharing how much Kyle touched my life as he stood by with that beautiful smile on his face! I used to work at Cumberland Pawn( Grove st.). I worked there for about 10 years and even though I did not have the pleasure of working with Kyle my heart breaks. I am so sorry for your loss and I will be praying for your family. May God bless your family through this very difficult time.

Such a tragic senseless death... I don't know Kyle or his family but wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss, I cant even imagine the pain your feeling, and will feel as the holidays are fastly approaching.. I pray that GOD gives you strength and comfort in the yrs to come. Know that GOD must have wanted him to come HOME, and that GOD only chooses THE BEST.. and im sure Kyle was just that THE BEST. !!!

For Bereaved Friends
In thy wisdom, whose ways are past finding out, Thou has appointed our dear ones unto tears. Thou hast called them into sorrow’s Gesthemane, where great loneliness and anguish wring their hearts. Grant, Father, that they may meet Jesus there. This is all that we can pray. Our blundering lips cannot comfort them and our blind eyes cannot discern the purpose of Thy providence. But, O Father of love, draw these sorrowing ones close to Thyself in the person of the sympathetic Saviour. Through their tears may they see Jesus. There is no comfort but in Thee, O God Triune; may all who weep find Thee. Be Thou companionship for their perplexity, strength for their weakness and courage for their new life of bereavement. Show them that all Thy plans for Thy children include two worlds. Reveal unto them the tenderness and humaneness of Thy sympathy; comfort them as those whom a mother comforts. This we ask in the name of the Saviour Who sorrowed and wept. Amen.

I wish I had gotten to know my cousin better. I am thankful for the family I have and through Kyle's memory will make more of an effort to let the one's I love know how important they are to me. Kyle was loved, and will never be forgotten.

I would take nothing away from the grief you feel today. I would not say to you that everything is all right. Because it's not and you know it. You hurt. And we know you will hurt for a long time. God made us so that we can have relationships with one another and when that relationship is lost we feel pain. You have lost a loved one - and it hurts. My son used to go to school with Kyle, and even though we did not know him personally, we did do some business with him at the pawn shop. He was a nice friendly boy, and he will be greatly missed. Praying for peace for the family, & his friends. The Springs Family

We met Kyle in the hall of his UNCG dorm, which was on the same floor as our daughter Holly's. He was the most polite and friendly young man we've ever met. He and Holly became great friends and have shared a lot of good times together. He was always there for her during that first difficult year of college for which we will always be grateful. He had an outgoing personality and friendliness that you just don't see every day. He is already greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his parents and siblings and his best girl, Whitney.

I did not know Kyle, but my daughter was a classmate of his at UNCG. She thought the world of him and was heartbroken to hear the news. My family is very sorry for you loss and will continue to keep your family in our prayers.
