North Fond du Lac - James "Jim" R. Peters - June, 1935 to December, 2020
Jim was a loving father, grandfather, husband, and brother...he passed peacefully at the age of 85 thanks to the caring hands of the nurses at Shady Lane in Manitowoc. Loving father to Jodi Riley and Jeff (Kelly) Peters, brother to Dianne Taylor, Terry Peters and Donna Spence and Grandfather to Megan Riley and Rebecca Jean. Jim was the former husband and continued loving companion to Isabelle Peters and former loving husband to Karen Peters (Broadway).
Jim loved his family, people in general and animals. Jim was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and depending on the game, there was always a "Hot Dog" to be heard when the game was going their way. Jim was known for his corny jokes, big smile and beautiful blue eyes. He was an avid hunter and had an entrepreneurial spirit that resulted in several small businesses. He provided well for his family, giving his kids an ideal childhood in the country, full of love, laughter and any and everything they needed.
Jim wished to spend eternity among the Sedona Red Rocks in Arizona where his ashes will be scattered in lieu of a formal service.

Jim was a wonderful person and best friend to my father, me and everyone else he met. Growing up as friends with his son and daughter, I had always hoped to reconnect with them over the years to rekindle the memories of visiting them on the farm. Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences.

Jim would always come to my mom's house for the holidays and Packer games. He would talk in crazy voices, his most famous being Donald Duck. He always had a corney joke. He will be missed.
