Bernice Sparkman entered into heaven on January 19, 2016. She was affectionately known to everyone as "Mama B". She was married to Buddy (deceased 1984) for 48 years. They had 2 children, Greg (Kathy) and Diane (Allen). She had 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with another one due soon. They were the biggest joy in her life. She was born June 30, 1930 in Huntsville, AL. After high school she got married and they moved to Auburn for Buddy to go to college. They started their family in Huntsville, but moved to Titusville in 1965 when the Space Program took off. Mama B loved to play bridge, flower arranging, traveling in their motorhome and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend and will be sorely missed by many. Services are planned for Friday, Jan 22, 2016, at Indian River City United Methodist Church. The viewing begins at 11:00AM with funeral services following at noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250 Grumman Place, Titusville, FL 32780. www.northbrevardfuneralhome.

Greg I am so sorry to learn of your Mother's death. I started trying to reach your Mother this week and found the phone working but not able to access it. I have been on the computer last night and tonight looking for you and found this obituary for Bernice. I am Elnora Johnson wife of James Johnson your Mother's cousin. Ms. Bernice was one of the nicest people we have ever met. She was always smiling, so kind and an absolute joy to be around. The world will be a little less bright without her, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
