Bernice Saunders Obituary
There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family in Crusoe Cemetery in Savannah.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 200 Douglas Dr., Waterloo, N.Y. 13165 or Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, N.Y. 14623-9915.
Bernice was born March 20, 1927, in Windsor, the daughter of Frank and Emma Gibbs Barner. She was a lifelong resident of the Finger Lakes area. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gilbert Saunders; daughter, Judy (Norman) Mayes of Savannah; son, Roger (Lita) Saunders of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Saunders, Jeremy Saunders, Chad Saunders, Brian Reynolds, Joanna (Dinesh) Guglani, and Jennifer (Michael) DeChelbor; two great-grandchildren, Colin and Vesper; sister-in-law, Marilyn Barner of Seneca Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice was predeceased by one son, Steven Saunders; and one brother, Frank Barner, Jr.
