Edna Olschewske Obituary

WATERLOO - Edna M. Olschewske, 95, formerly of Route 414, Waterloo, NY, died Thursday (October 22, 2009) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.
Committal services for Edna will be held on Tuesday (October 27, 2009) at 11:30 AM at Canoga Cemetery, Route 89, Seneca Falls, NY. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992 Auxiliary, River Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Inc. Seneca Falls, N.Y.
Edna was born in Fayette, NY on September 22, 1914 the daughter of the late Earl & Mary McBride Kuney. She had resided in Waterloo for a time, previously living in Auburn, NY.
She was retired from the former Willard Psychiatric Center, Willard, NY. She was a former member of the Memorial Post #6433 V.F.W. Auxiliary, Waterloo, NY, the Warner-VanRiper Post #435 American Legion Auxiliary, Waterloo, NY, the Rebekah Lodge Auxiliary of Waterloo, NY and the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #996 Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, Donald E. (Louise) Olschewske, Waterloo, Bernard (Diane) Olschewske, Ontario, Steven (Joy) Olschewske, Auburn, six grandchildren, Cheryl (John) O'Connors,
Dean (Tina) Olschewske, Danielle Olschewske, Katie Olschewske, Chad (Meg) Olschewske, Jason Olschewske, four great-grandchildren, Kyle and Sheena O'Connor, Ellie and Jamafore Olschewske; two sisters-in-law, Doris Swartz, Seneca Falls,Ivan (Carl) McNaney, Florida, one brother-in-law, Richard (Alberta) Olschewske, Waterloo; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Howard A. Olschewske who died September 29, 1999 and two brothers, Glenn & Louis Kuney.
