JACK ROLLINS Obituary
JACK C. ROLLINS, 87, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, he retired from Dana Corp. Axel Division, after 37 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of Wayne dale Lodge No. 739, F.&A.M., Whitley County Shrine Club, and lifetime member of Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and The Korean War. Surviving are his daughters, Rebecca (Dennis) Doenges of Florida and Kimberly (Tony) Napier of Anderson, Ind.; sister, Georgie Ruth Ash of Deleware; grandsons, Brandon (Shelley) Shipley and Kyle (Lauren) Gresham; and great-grandchildren, Kallen Shipley, Eloise and Hazel Gresham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Rollins, in 2000. Service is 11 a.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a Masonic service. Private entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens, with Military honors.
