WILLMETTE "WILLIE" CLARK, 88, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was born and lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was a daughter of the late Chester and Grace Shenfeld. For over 30 years customers enjoyed her smiling face at Zesto Ice Cream. Willmette was a wonderful cook. She loved the arts, big band music and dancing. However her greatest passion was her family. She was married to Jack Clark for over 43 years until his passing and was a loving and selfless wife and mother. Surviving are her son, William "Bill" (Lisa) Clark of Lone Tree, Colo.; daughters, Cathy Harter of Antioch, Ill., Theresa "Terry" (Bruce) Widener of Indianapolis, Ind., Susan (Greg) Goodwin of Fort Wayne, Ind., Laura Miller of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Chester Shenfeld of Wabash, Ind., Jerry (Mary) Shenfeld of Fort Wayne, Ind., Frank (Marilyn) Shenfeld of Columbia City, Ind. Willmette was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Clark; brothers,, Larry Shenfeld, Richard Shenfeld; sisters, Betty Pietzak, Mary Didion, and Alma Cox. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne (IN 46804), with calling one hour prior.
