Mary Rentsel Obituary
She was the wife of the late Wilbur Rentsel.
Born in Antrium Township, Franklin County, Pa., on March 3, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Frank and Helen Marie (Sites) Rock. A homemaker, Isabelle was a former member of Messiah United Methodist Church in Taneytown and a current member at Wellers United Methodist Church in Thurmont. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Thurmont American Legion.
Survivors include her three brothers, Benjamin F. Rock Jr. and wife Gladys of Taneytown, Robert J. Rock of Littlestown, Pa., and George L. Rock and wife Diane of Springfield, Va.; and 12 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. in Wellers United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Broome officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfield Union Cemetery, Fairfield, Pa.
Memorials in her name may be made to Wellers United Methodist Church, 101 N. Altamont Ave., Thurmont, MD 21788.
