Philip Wetzel Obituary
Born July 20, 1941 in Thurmont, he was a son of the late Henry Russell and Mariana K. Roddy Wetzel.
Philip was a mechanic most of his life and had worked for Mountain Gate Plaza in Thurmont, Md.
Mr. Wetzel attended St. Anthony's Shrine Parish, Emmitsburg, Md.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary E. Frazer of Gettysburg, Pa., and Mariana K. Myers of Littlestown, Pa. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 23, from St. Anthony's Shrine Parish, Emmitsburg, Md., with the Rev. Jack Lombardi as the celebrant at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Anthony's Shrine Cemetery, Emmitsburg, Md.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Skiles Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, Md., where the rosary will be held at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Shrine Parish, 16150 St. Anthony's Rd., Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
