Alonzo Rodriguez
Alonzo Rodriguez, 73, of Ruther Glen, formerly of Alexandria, died Saturday April 10, 2004, in Alexandria.
Born in Texas, he had retired as a carpenter and was a member of Wrights Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was active in the Methodist Men's Club. He was a member of the Lake Caroline Beautification Committee and enjoyed fishing, bowling, woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Peterson Rodriguez; two daughters, Carmelita Rodriguez of Charlottesville and Maria Peter of Alexandria; three brothers, Manuel, Arturo and Carlos Rodriguez, all of Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Ethel May and Bob Keys of Ohio; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Tonya Peter of Alexandria.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at Wrights Chapel United Methodist Church, Ladysmith, with the Rev. Charles Tillapaugh officiating.
