Roberta Dodd Obituary

Roberta Frances (Wine) Dodd, 92, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday morning, May 9, 2018 at home surrounded by her beloved family. A resident of Clark County since 1974, she was very much involved in her family, church, neighborhood activities, and was loved by all. Roberta was born on October 3, 1925, in Falmouth, Virginia to the late Keith Morgan and Lillie Virginia (Reid) Wine. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Edward Dodd, as well as ten siblings. She is survived by her one remaining sister, Velva Powell, and sister-in-law, Arlene Knight, both of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three daughters, Cynthia Grace Grigg, Kathy Phillips (David), and Patricia Weerts (Michael); ten grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation was Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150. Her Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Branham Tabernacle, 804 Penn St., Jeffersonville, IN 47130 with burial to follow in Eastern Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Roberta's name may be made to the Voice of God Recordings, 5911 Jeffersonville-Charlestown Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
