tamara was a dear friend as we wound our way through various schools in the board. Her compassion, thoughtfulness, and kitty wisdom were always appreciated. She had a deep-seated spirituality which was evident to all she encountered. I wish I were still living in Toronto as she faced her illness. My deepest condolences to Theresa and Peter. I know that she spoke of you often and with great fondness. God bless.

Tamara and I were colleagues at St. Mary's. We became friends because we shared a love of cats. Due to the fact that we lived near each other, Tamara would often offer me a ride to or from school. If we were on the trip home and the mood was right, we would swing by and get her sister, Terry, and head off to Swiss Chalet for chicken and laughter. When we attended Parents' Nights at school, another east end colleague, Wynn Ann, would join the trio and under the dome of silence of the car, we would share stories and secrets. Together Tamara and I visited many funeral parlours throughout the city whenever our colleagues lost loved ones. It is ironic that today is the last time that we will be in a funeral parlour together. In the years that I knew her, Tamara always demonstrated a strong devotion to her faith. She was conscientious and caring and felt a great affection for her students -- even the naughty ones. She loved to coordinate her outfits and was such a girly girl and yet came by my house one day with her axe to chop down a diseased tree in my front yard. I will miss Tamara. We had lost touch since my retirement but I still had the comfort of knowing that she was out there somewhere nearby.

I chose Tamara to be part of our team in the family studies department at Loretto College. She was an excellent teacher and a much beloved colleague. She left us far too soon and will be sadly missed.

I will miss Tamara very much. It was lovely to have someone in the Family Studies Department who had such a wealth of experience and from whom I could learn so much. I only wish we had more time as colleagues. My overiding impression of Tamara is her kindness to me and all the students she taught. My condolences go out to all Tamara's family.

My sincerest condolences. I remember Tamara well. We were workroom neighbours before we became friends at St, Mary's. She was very professional and caring and a good listener, but she was not all work and no play. I loved the way she told stories! We shared adventures and food and dancing and there was always a lot of laughter! Her smile alone brightened the dull work area. I remember Tamara well.
