The funeral for Suzanne M. Grisham, 37, of Elkhorn will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha.
She died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Bergan Mercy Hospice in Omaha.
She was born May 23, 1967, in Lincoln and was raised in Omaha, graduating from Marion High School in 1985. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1989. She taught elementary school for the Omaha Public Schools for five years and then moved to Fremont in 1996 where she was a substitute teacher in the Fremont Public Schools. She moved to Elkhorn in 2003.
Suzanne Ursick married W. Kent Grisham on June 8, 1991, in Omaha.
She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha. She was past president of her Beta Sigma Phi Chapter in Fremont and was active in the Republican Party, serving on the Douglas County Central Committee and as a delegate to the Republican state convention. She also volunteered with Emergency Pregnancy Services in Omaha.
Survived include: her husband, Kent; two children, Kali, 11, and Will, 4, both at home; mother, Sharon Ursick of Omaha; a sister, Kathleen Chattin of Omaha; two brothers, John A. Ursick Jr. of Omaha and Dr. Joseph Ursick of Kansas City, Kan.
She was preceded by her father and a sister.
The family will be present for visitation from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
A memorial has been established to the Grisham Children's Education.
