Frances Julia Crane

FRANCES JULIA CRANE Frances Crane was born in Dinuba, CA on November 20, 1906, to Mortimer and Daisy Pierce and passed away in Reedley on Wednesday, June 23, 2004. Frances was a lifelong resident of the local area, having lived in Reedley for 80 years. She was a homemaker, avid gardener and expert fisherman. She was affectionately known as "Nanu". She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Crane in 1967, and continued their farming and ranchinig operations until her death. Frances is survived by her three daughters, Nadine Bailey, Joanne Olson, and Sugar McNemey and her husband Jim; grandchildren, Tootie (Bailey) Bland, Ross Bailey, Rick Olson, Jeff Olson, Jill (Olson) Colvin, Mike McNerney, and DeDe (McNerney) Darnell; and ten great-grand children. A Memorial Service will be held at the McNerney residence in Reedley on Monday, June 28, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will be held.
