I was a neighborhood kid who became her friend. I was only 8 years old when she opened her heart to my brothers and sisters and me. She would fit all of us into her car and take us to Sunday school and to the church picnics. She bought us Halloween costumes one year when our parents couldn't afford it. Eventually I grew up, went to college, and became a doctor. I have never forgotten her. I'm sorry I missed her during the last few hectic years of my life. But I want to let everyone of her family members know that she was an angel who returned to heaven and that I appreciated her very much.

Oh Aunt Fran! How I will miss you: your laughter and keen sense of humor always lifted my spirits whenever you phoned. You are the last to leave from my family. The last of the greatest. Thanks for the love and support through the years. Nephew Gary Friedly
