JAMES BRAZEAL Obituary

James was born in Sanger, Ca. on May 13, 1938, to Eli and Ethel Brazeal. Born and raised in Sanger, he graduated from Sanger High School and later California State University Fresno. He worked for the Fresno County Tax Assessor's Office for over 39 years. He served on the Sanger Planning Commission. James was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. James was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Brazeal; his brothers, Murl, Verl, Wayne, and Robert. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Brazeal; his daughter, Valerie Watts and her husband Lance; his son, Greg Brazeal and his wife Jill; his mother-in-law, Lucille Gadberry. James also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Johnn, Brian, Haley, Cody, Savannah, Devin, Brooke, and Cody. A Memorial Service will be held at New Covenant Community Church on Friday, October 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Valley Children's Hospital Foundation, 9300 Valley Children's Place, Madera, Ca. 93638. Sharon and Family, I spoke with my Aunt Roylene & Uncle Jim Hamilton... I am very sorry for your loss. You and James were an important part of my parents lives, especially during the glory days at Sanger High. I have never forgotten about your family... I know my mom (Lynda Hamilton-Wrinkle) loved you. I remember when I worked for the County of Fresno in the Hall of Records, I entered the elevator and there was James. I had not seen him in years, but I sure did recognize him and he was so nice to me. James told me that he had kept in conntact with my Dad over the years and James did give me comfort in knowing that my Dad had expressed his concern about us kids... I remember Jim and Sharon from many years ago, being a Sangerite myself. They were both wonderful people, and I noticed that their love for each other spread out to all who knew them. Love and peace to Sharon and her family. Jim's loss is a great one and he will truly be missed.
