Tina Douglas Obituary
Tina is survived by daughter Carmen Douglas; former spouse Jeff Douglas of Attalla; sisters Gina White (Tim) of Glencoe and Nina Covey (Eric) of Mount Sterling. She is also survived by a multitude of nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by father, James Little; mother, Betty Rodgers and a multitude of family members.
Tina was born June 19, 1961, in Greenfield, Tennessee. She graduated from Hokes Bluff High School. Tina greatly loved her family and friends. She had a lifelong passion for helping animals and working outside with her flowers until her health became disabling. She worked at the Etowah County Humane Society for many years. She deeply loved her daughter Carmen, who inherited her mother's love of nature and animals. Tina was loved by all who knew her and will greatly missed.
As requested by Tina, a Life Celebration will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 15, in Mount Sterling, with all friends and family invited. We will share a meal and fellowship to celebrate Tina's life and the loving homecoming she has received into Heaven by her Savior, Jesus.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to your local Humane Society.
