David Johnson Obituary
Boiling Springs, SC - David R. Johnson, Jr., 53, of Boiling Springs, SC, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
Born in Greer, SC, he was the son of Mary Robbins (Larry) of Boiling Springs, SC and the late Reverend David R. Johnson, Sr. of Reidville, SC. He was a talented musician, loved his family and fishing, and of the Baptist faith.
Also surviving is a brother, Jeremiah K. Johnson of Johnson City, Tennessee; a niece, Avril Johnson of Lexington, SC; best friend, Donna and fur friend, Dixie.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 1919 Highway 11, Landrum, SC. Reverend Larry Robbins will be officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hopewell Baptist Church, 1919 Highway 11, Landrum, SC 29356.
The family will be at their respective homes.
