EARL DENNISON Obituary
EARL LEROY, 85
Gainesville - Earl Leroy Dennison passed away on Friday evening Nov. 15th just before turning 86. Mr. Dennison spent most of his life in the Gainesville area and died at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a devout Jehovah's Witness for many years and was strong in his faith.
Mr. Dennison was born in Theresa, FL to Roy & Kathleen Dennison. After a stint in the Navy, he worked for a grocery store, his mothers flower shop as a flower arranger, and then settled into the construction trade with his father. He was a building contractor in the Gainesville area for many years, with other enterprises sprinkled in. A tribute to him is the friendships he developed with his peers, co-workers and customers.
His father LR Dennison, mother Kathleen Dennison and sister Edith Veatch preceded Mr. Dennison in death. He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Betty Dennison; sons Phil (Cindy) of Palm Coast, David of Gainesville; daughters Robin (Phil) Witeka of Gainesville, Susan (Jeff) Moreland of Dallas, TX, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 5720 SE CR 346, Micanopy, FL 32667.

To The Family:
I had the pleasure of working with Earl when I was am employee of the City of Gainesville. He was one of our contractors. A loving and wonderful man who loved his family and others. May God Bless you all and please know that God gave Earl a long beautiful life and now he has his reward!!!
