Isaiah Washington Obituary
WASHINGTON, SR.
Age 76, Retired Employee of the Overstreet Paving Company & Stauffer Chemical Plant of Pinellas County, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Shands Hospital @ University of Florida.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Church of God by Faith (735 SE 15th Street, Gainesville, FL) where Bishop James McKnight, Sr. is Pastor, with his Nephew, Pastor Elroy Moore, officiating. Burial will follow at Rhuta Branch Cemetery (Monteocha Community/Gainesville). Mr. Washington was viewed at the Funeral Home on Wednesday (2:00-7:00PM) - At the Church on Thursday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at his residence, 2817 NE 15th St, Gainesville, at 10:15AM.
Mr. Washington leaves to cherish his memory: (Wife - Catherine Fryer Washington preceded him in death); Children - Theodore C. Fryer (& Joan), Brenda Washington-Young, Isaiah Washington, Jr. (& Esther), Ora Washington, Jeanette Washington-Danzy, David Washington and Willie Owens of Gainesville, FL and Rickey Jackson (& Nadia) of Italy; Sister - Victoria Jones of Gainesville, FL; Grandchildren - Robert Tyson, Youlanda Fryer, Tromaine Fryer, David Washington, Brooke Bostic, (one preceded him in death - Tre' L. Danzy); Nieces & Nephews; Cousins & Friends.
Arrangements By: DUNCAN BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME, 428 NW 8th St, Gainesville, FL.
