Troy Chadwick Obituary
Troy Thomas Chadwick, 88, of Cumming, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February19, 2022. Mr. Chadwick was born to the late Dewey and Clara Chadwick in Suwannee. He grew up with a loving family and a love for the Lord. He graduated high school from Lilburn High and went on in life to spend a 45-year career as an electrician. He served as a foreman for Inglett and Stubbs Electric Company. He was a true outdoorsman, loving both fishing and hunting. He was blessed in a loving marriage of 70 years to his loving bride, Martha. He and Martha are members of Cumming Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Chadwick. He is survived by his wife, Martha Chadwick of Cumming, his daughter Marsha Kay Chadwick of Atlanta, his daughter, Carol and (Benny) Sorrow of Norcross, his daughter Tracy and (Keith) Kennedy of Lawrenceville. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, his sister Myrtle and Ed Barrett of Flowery Branch, brother Claude and Elaine Chadwick of Loganville, sister Doris and Larry Harrison of Lilburn, and sister Delores Chadwick of Loganville. Mr. Chadwick is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Chadwick was held from 5:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday February 23, and again from 12:00 p.m., to service time at 2:00 p.m., Thursday February 24. A funeral service for Mr. Chadwick was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday February 24, in the in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Burial followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. Officiating over the service was Rev. Roger Williams and Rev. Jamie Archer and Mark Wood brought the special music. Pallbearers were Jonathan Kennedy, Chadwick Sorrow, Robby Brassell, David Brown, Brent Harrison, and Glen Harrison. Condolences may be expressed at www.mcdonaldandson.com.
