Gregory Melton Obituary

Gregory Melton

Gastonia - Gregory Lynn Melton Jr., 27, passed away on June 23 at his home that he shared with his father.

Gregory was born on December 8, 1993, to parents Greg Melton and Mary Lynch, joining his older sister, Ashley.

He was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and loved his family deeply.

Gregory was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Pheabie Meredith and Claudia Medlin.

He is survived by his father, Greg Melton; mother and stepfather, Mary and Glenn Lynch; sister, Ashley Plemmons (Zach); nephews, Jaxson and Tucker Plemmons; stepsiblings, Glenda and Jacob Lynch; and many cousins that he held special bonds with.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 29, from 6 until 8 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia and say their final goodbyes on Wednesday, June 30, at 2:00 pm at One Accord Church, 115 W. Ridge St., Gastonia, NC.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
