Clyde Glover Obituary

Clyde "Bud" Glover

July 8, 1931 - January 27, 2022

Clyde "Bud" Glover, age 90, our beloved father, was called home to be with the Lord. He passed away peacefully in his sleep.

"Bud" was born in Buffalo, Wyoming, where he spent some of his childhood riding horses on a cattle ranch. His family relocated to the Carmel Valley in California where he spent his remaining childhood.

He served his country in the Air Force as a tail gunner in a B29 bomber and then relocated to Palisade, CO, where he raised his four daughters. Bud was an avid lover of his back yard. He built several squirrel houses and one fancy cat house for the beloved cat, "Fat Boy."

Clyde was born to Clyde Bud Glover Sr. and Katherine (Espy) Glover. Both his parents have preceded him in death as well as his sisters, Barbara Emlay, and Diane Bruscus.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley, who resides in Arlington, WA; daughters, Chris McDonald, Cindy (Al) Fehlman, Cheri (Todd) McQuiston, and Candy (Mel) Wuollet; brother, Michael Glover; step-daughters, Paula Beckman and Christine (Bobby) Clumpner; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be July 8, in Palisade, where he will be laid to rest with a view of the Grand Mesa.
