Kyle Wyatt Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service with inurnment at the Osage Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, and will continue one hour before services at the church.
Kyle was born March 30, 1966, at Riceville, the son of Melvin "Pete" Wyatt and Nancy (McCarthy) Johnson. He graduated from Riceville High School in 1984 and NEITI in Calmar.
Kyle married Colette Moe on Aug. 10, 1991, in Forest City. They lived in Osage where Kyle was employed at Leading Edge Ford.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Colette, Osage; three sons, Jamie, Des Moines, Jeremiah, Osage, Erik, Osage; granddaughter, Ahna Wyatt, Osage; his mother, Nancy (Keith) Johnson, Osage; father, Melvin "Pete" Wyatt, Riceville; maternal grandmother, Lillian McCarthy, Osage; paternal grandmother, Marcella Wyatt, Riceville; three sisters, Leesa Shane, Riceville, Lori (Neil) Riley, St. Ansgar, Beth Wyatt, Osage.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bryanna Wyatt, maternal grandfather, Thomas McCarthy; paternal grandfather, Howard Wyatt; nephew, Jimmy Shane.

Getting to hang out with Kyle at this summer’s family reunion meant a lot. Now having those memories means even more than words can describe. I just thank God that we had the opportunity to get together with Kyle before he had to leave us. I guess the next time we get together with him will be at the most spectacular reunion ever. I’m sure Kyle will be saving us a great seat, because that is the kind of guy he was. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

I'm so sorry about your loss. I only knew Kyle for a short time, but the time I've known him will always be special. He was a nice guy with a big heart and talked about his kids often.
