Susan K. Pierce

MASON CITY - Susan "Sue" K. Pierce, 74, of Mason City, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan Pierce Memorial Fund.

Sue was born November 28, 1941, the daughter of James D. and Virginia (Deutsch) Estle in Mason City. She married Theodore Pierce Sr. on April 3, 1960, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2011.

Sue grew up and attended school in Mason City. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, watching game shows and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Sue is survived by two sons, Bruce (Karin) Pierce of Janesville, WI, and Theodore Jr. (Misty) Pierce of Kensett; two grandchildren, Bryan (Amber Andrade) Pierce of California and Sarah (Shaun Czubkowski) Pierce of Neenah, WI; a great-granddaughter, Audrey Pierce of Virginia; a step-grandchild, Levi (Heather) Gibler of Appleton, WI; a step-great-grandson, Brock Gibler; two sisters, Ginger Jacobson of Gilbert, IA, and Kathy Estle of Austin, TX; a brother, Jim (Terry) Estle of Cartersville, GA; and a sister-in-law, Lori Estle of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Barbara (Robert) Furnish; and two brothers, Jack and Robert Estle.
